Der AMH sagt aus, wie hoch die Eizellreserve ist. Er sagt nichts über die Qualität der Eizellen aus. Deshalb sagt er auch nichts darüber aus, wie hoch die konkrete Schwangerschaftschance ist. Der AMH-Wert kann aber einen Hinweis darauf geben, wie gut die Patientin voraussichtlisch auf die Stimulation anspricht. Deshalb ist der Wert ganz gut zur Abschätzung, ob die Gefahr einer Überstimulation (bei einer entsprechenden Dosierung) drohen könnte.
